Very Short Life Story

I was born in 1956 in the U.K. My family emigrated to Australia as “Ten Pound Poms” in 1965.

I attended primary school at Matraville in Sydney, and then Lane Cove. I then went to North Sydney Girls' High School and started Medicine at Sydney University on completion of High School.

Following graduation I travelled to rural and remote areas of NSW and Queensland to work, arriving in Griffith with a spouse and two young children in 1990.

Those two young men have graduated in their own fields. Their parents are planning to work less as a prelude to retirement.
